What else you’ll be doing:

In addition to padding your resume and increasing your professional value, you’ll be challenged in a high transaction shop where data is key and DBA’s are Kings.  You’ll manage existing databases and oversee database requests & code deployment to production, development and QA environments.  This is a 24X7 shop and on-call support rotation will be a part of your duties, but being the one in need is very cool. 

Your duties may also include:  Administration of transactional replication; support and development of SSIS packages; ensuring SQL service availability; database integrity & recoverability; log shipping; database performance & efficiency; and, service performance monitoring & reporting.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation is excellent with a starting base salary up to $100k - based on experience, qualifications and potential.   Health benefits are considered ‘world-class’. 

What you’ll need:

Required Experience:

  • ASP/ASP.NET

  • C#.NET          

  • .NET Components

  • MOSS 2007   

  • Web Part Development

  • JavaScript               

  • HTML  

  • DHTML

  • N-Tier 

  • RDBMS          

  • SQL Server 2000

  • SOAP                  

  • WWF                         

  • At least six years programming experience in Active Server Pages with at least three years in Microsoft .NET development and two years of SharePoint development experience. 

  • Must demonstrate major project lead and integration experience.

  • Experience working in small teams on critical projects for large-scale clients.

  • Strong experience in development of components in an object-oriented development language.

  • Must be able to work and communicate with team to bring all developed code, web parts, and components together and lead the integration phase of MOSS projects.

  • Must be willing to work in a Microsoft-centric environment and learn new and legacy technologies quickly.

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience building N-tier web applications. 

  • Thorough knowledge of HTML and supporting languages such as JavaScript.

  • Ability to quickly learn and master new concepts and new programming languages. 

  • Ability to learn independently, leveraging existing code and documentation.

  • Highly developed deductive reasoning skills with ability to troubleshoot & resolve development issues.

  • Experience with relational database design and development.

  • Ability to read and understand entity-relation diagrams and data models.

  • Experience developing with InfoPath forms and work flow required.

  • Strong attention to detail. 

  • Strong oral and written skills.

  • History of creative approaches to problem-solving.

  • Experience in one or more of the following subject matters:
    - Knowledge Management (KM)
    - Business Process Management (BPM)
    - Digital Asset Management (DAM)
    - Variable Data Publishing (VDP)

  • Experience with third party work flow tools desired (Skelta, K2 ).


Preferred Skills & Experience (Plusses):

  • SQL Server 2005

  • Experience developing applications for marketing business functions

  • 3rd Party Work Flow

  • Pageflex & Telerik tools experience

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor Degree required with MIS/CS/IS/IT highly desired.
