What
you’ll be doing:
You’ll
be in a very creative environment developing advanced technical solutions to
address business requirements on interactive systems.
This may include PHP, ActionScript, JavaScript, HTML, e-mail, Content
Management Systems, Landing
Pages and development issues
with other IS organizations such
as database, client services, Project Management Office (PMO), operations,
business units and valued clients.
The
challenges you’ll face will be in the performance of systems design,
development, modification, expansion and implementation of new, future and
current software solutions to address a wide range of business and system
initiatives all the while ensuring that reliability and performance
standards are met. This may
entail design, coding, test, debugging & maintenance from function
specs; developing support tools for internal & external clients;
application analysis & problem resolution; training & support of
users, support associates & management; defining project plans; and
development of technical specifications.
Additionally, you’ll be working closely with Project Managers and
with multiple internal departmental personnel including Information
Architects, Interactive Developers, QA department, Graphic Designers,
Creative Directors, Copywriters, etc.
While
not formal management positions, Senior & Lead level positions may allow
or require management and/or supervisory responsibilities.

years of software engineering experience - building database
applications and processes

and MySQL configuration and performance tuning with strong MySQL query
optimization on large databases.
